The familiarities of growing up, daydreaming, prom, insecurities, and your parents dropping you off at the mall, shine brightly through every aspect of this EP. Producer Jeremy Lutito (The New Respects, Colony House, Leagues) pushes Latimer’s clever lyrics over glassy instrumentation, entwining arrangements and unique tones that match the nostalgia of her vocal performance. The duo have created an intriguing, effervescent sound that’s repackaged any John Hughes soundtrack. “Teenage Lullaby” is a must listen. Get it and dream to it.
